On this page, "You" and "Your" refer to you, the purchaser who is buying a product from us. "We" and "us" refers to the Continental Games, LLC a Delaware retailer of playing cards, games and supplies.
When you make a purchase from us, you are agreeing to certain terms and conditions. These are:
1. Lawful purchase and use: You affirm that it is legal for you to purchase, own and use the product(s) you are buying in your state, country or other jurisdiction.
2. Safe use and storage of your gaming items: You affirm that you are an adult and will store and use the products you buy from us in a safe, reasonable and responsible manner. You affirm that you will not allow children or persons who are impaired to use the products you purchase from us, and that you will hold harmless Continental Games, LLC, its owner and employees for any misuse of the items by you or others.
2. Optional shipping insurance: You understand that you may opt to purchase shipping insurance for up to the full value of your order, or you may opt to decline such insurance. We will package your item(s), correctly address your order, and turn it over to the shipping carrier you elected, or, if you chose no shipping carrier, to the shipping carrier of our choice. We will inform you of the shipping carrier and a tracking number after shipping.
3. Delivery failures, buyer assumes risk: You understand that after your package is addressed to you and handed over to a shipping carrier or delivery service, we are not responsible for any theft during or after shipping, loss of the contents of the shipment, or damage, in full or in part, of the shipment. You assume all risk during shipping, whether or not insurance or additional insurance was purchased.
4. Delivery failures include: mistaken delivery, delivery to the wrong address or person by the carrier, theft in transit or before or after delivery, or damage to the contents of your order.
5. Claims for losses, theft or damage during shipping: In the event of such a loss, your remedy will be to file the correct claim form with the carrier in a timely manner. We recommend contacting the carrier immediately upon receiving a damaged package, or upon realizing a package was not delivered on time. 6. Our role in your claim: We will reasonably assist you in your claim for damages by providing copies of invoices, payment records or item descriptions for any items that are stolen, mistakenly delivered, damaged or destroyed. These items will be provided within a reasonable time upon request from you or the carrier. In the event of a theft of a shipment, we will directly assist law enforcement in their investigation to the fullest extent possible.
7. Time limit to file a claim for theft, loss or damage: In the event your shipment is lost, stolen or damaged in the shipping process, you may file a claim directly with a carrier. We recommend filing the claim as soon as you become aware of the loss, theft or damage. Waiting too long may invalidate your claim with the carrier. In no case should you wait longer than 10 days to notify us of the damage, loss or theft, and file a claim with the carrier. If you chose to not file, or wait longer than 10 days, we are not obligated to assist in your claim but may do so at our discretion.
